This is why our motto is:The Difference Between Living and Living WellThe Accounting Supervisor assists staff with their daily tasks, implements efficient processes, and takes a hands-on approach to managing a portfolio of communities and oversees the financial operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. This role requires a strong background in accounting to support and help the team understand and answer accounting related questions.The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented, independent thinker who can identify anomalies and develop solutions.$80,000 - $85,000/annually*Depending on ExperienceJob Type:Full TimeWhat Cascade Living look for in an Accounting Supervisor:Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support for professional development and help with day-to-day accounting tasks.Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Maintain professional banking relationships.Hands-on experience in month-end closing at the community level, managing multiple sets of books for each community in the portfolio.Assist with the compilation of financial packets and compliance reporting.Conduct monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations.Oversee census reconciliation of resident changes.Ensure state taxes are filed and paid timely by the accountants.Oversee the training process for Business Office Managers and performance evaluations.Assist with monthly analysis of budget vs. actual variances and narratives.Understand and review intercompany account reporting and reconciliations.Qualifications:CPA/CMA and or Bachelors degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance.Four or more years of relevant experience with progressive advancement.Strong technical skills, including excellent Excel proficiency.Experience using multi-entity property management software such as Yardi.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Oversee training process for Business Office managers and performance evaluation.Assist with monthly analysis of Budget vs Actual Variances and NarrativesUnderstand and review intercompany account reporting and reconciliations.$80,000 - $85,000/annually*Depending on ExperienceBelow are some of the Cascade Living Group benefit offerings:Competitive wagesCareer PathwaysHealth Insurance (for those eligible)Voluntary benefits (Disability, Accident, Life)Flexible Pet Insurance for cats and dogs401K (with company match)Pay advancesPerks at Work Discount ProgramGenerous Paid Time OffEducation AssistanceLongevity BonusesAs an inclusive workplace, everyone is welcomed at Cascade Living.
