Procurement and Contracts ManagerOur client is seeking a
Procurement and Contracts Manager to support post-acquisition
integration and drive sourcing strategies across a variety of
indirect and professional service categories. This role will play a
hands-on part in managing contract negotiations and procurement
operations, with a strong focus on risk management and technical
contract evaluation. Candidates who are adaptable, experienced in
complex contract interpretation, and comfortable operating in grey
areas will thrive in this opportunity.This role is fully
remote.Procurement and Contracts Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and management of
contracts, including service agreements, statements of work, and
amendments.
- Evaluate and redline commercial terms, pricing models, and
contractual obligations with third-party vendors.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, change
orders, and terminations, ensuring alignment with internal
compliance standards.
- Support procurement activities across indirect categories, with
a focus on professional services and IT contracts (approx. 45% of
total contract volume).
- Provide contract risk assessments and recommend appropriate
mitigation strategies.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements,
manage vendor communications, and support RFx initiatives.
- Interpret and manage contracts with a high degree of
complexity, leveraging strategic judgment in ambiguous or nuanced
scenarios.
- Contribute to post-M&A contract workstreams and ensure
smooth integration of acquired vendor agreements.Procurement and
Contracts Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications CPSM,
C.P.M., CPIM, or CSCP or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement, contract
management, or strategic sourcing.
- Hands-on experience managing indirect and professional services
contracts; IT procurement experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage complex agreements,
including contract risk and regulatory considerations.
- Experience contributing to or managing RFP processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
skills.
- Able to operate independently and adapt to evolving priorities
in a dynamic environment.Compensation: (DOE)
