Job Description:
Status: Full timeHours: 40 hours/weekCompany Sponsored Time: We
are piloting a 4-day, 32-hour work week, and YWCA will provide this
role 8 hours of Company Sponsored Time for you to use on Fridays to
maintain work-life balance while maintaining pay at 40 hours a

and grounding those principles in all daily tasksIncorporate the
YWCA's commitment to social justice by understanding how racism,
sexism, classism and other oppressions intersect and are embedded
in institutions. Seek opportunities for continued learning about
racial, gender and class equity. Develop and manage a portfolio of
150 major donorsDevelop customized cultivation and stewardship
plans to deepen donor relationships and increase giving.Conduct
one-on-one donor visits, solicitations, and stewardship meetings to
engage high-net-worth individuals and family foundations.Utilize a
moves management approach to identify, qualify, and solicit new
donors while upgrading existing donors.Craft impact-driven
proposals, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate
fundraising opportunities.Develop donor engagement strategies that
align with YWCA's mission and commitment to racial and gender
equity.Work with the Chief Executive Officer to set and achieve
annual revenue goals, contributing to YWCA's overall fundraising
strategy.Develop multi-year giving strategies to secure long-term
donor commitments.Partner with the Communications teams to align
major donor messaging, outreach, and impact storytelling.Identify
opportunities to expand the major gifts pipeline, including planned
giving and endowment contributions.Partner with program and
leadership staff to connect donor interests with funding
priorities.Ensure the accurate tracking and reporting of donor
interactions using Raiser's Edge.Participate in key YWCA
fundraising events and donor engagement activities.Prepare regular
reports on portfolio performance, revenue projections, and donor
pipeline.Attend and be mentally present during all required and
scheduled YWCA Clark County meetings. On a daily basis, check and
respond to voicemails, emails, and other correspondence in a timely
and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality. There is a
strong social justice component to all program positions within
YWCA, requiring critical thinking through the lens of racism and
intersections with poverty and other forms of oppression. Knowing
the core principles of anti-racism and grounding those principles
in everyday work are required job skills and core values. Related
experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in philanthropic
fundraising.Ability to earn: Proven track record of setting and
meeting progressively higher fundraising goals, securing four,
five, and six-figure gifts, and utilizing the moves management
process.Ability to influence: Build buzz, excitement, and donor
engagement through compelling storytelling and persuasive written
and verbal communication.Ability to work strategically: Handle
multiple moving priorities with follow-through and demonstrate
unwavering integrity and accountability.Ability to persevere:
Creativity when needed to find the right approach, ability to test
and discover new strategies and techniques.Strong
relationship-building skills: Demonstrated success in building and
maintaining relationships with high-net-worth donors, corporate
partners, and family foundations.Strong project management skills:
Maintain a strategic focus while managing multiple donor
engagements, deadlines, goals, and organizational needs.Strong
technological skills: Effectively use various programs to track,
communicate, and capitalize on past fundraising successes.
Competence with Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and
CRM systems (preferably Blackbaud Raiser's Edge) essential for
success.Demonstrated knowledge of philanthropy best practices:
Understanding of donor psychology, fundraising trends, and
strategies to grow major gifts and multi-year donor
