Med Tech (Memory Support) at Hillside - a HumanGood community summary: The Med Tech is responsible for providing nursing care to residents, ensuring compliance with person-directed care philosophy, and creating a safe environment. The role involves administering medications, communicating with healthcare professionals and families, and preparing shift reports to enhance resident satisfaction. Successful candidates will have a Med Tech certification, CPR certification, and prior nursing experience in senior care settings. The Med Tech is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care". Ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the residents daily life rhythm. Develops assignments in coordination with the care partners and keeps each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction. Shifts available: Full-time 10p-6a 4 on 2 off rotation. Pay range: $18-$26/hr depending on experience. *Plus $1-$3 shift differential depending on shift worked* A day in the life may look like :

• Provides resident care, including administering medications and documenting each treatment
• Maintain communication with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and residents' families concerning resident care
• Prepares shift reports
• Promotes and protects the rights of each resident To be successful in the role, you would have:
  • Current Med Tech certification is a plus
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care What's in it for you?
