Journeyman Truck Technician, you will work on medium and heavy-duty
class 7 & 8 trucks in the shop ensuring complex repairs are done
accurately and timely. All your hard work is geared toward
supporting our customers and maximizing their uptime. Being a
journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get
done. This will include analyzing and diagnosing truck malfunctions
or failures and then repairing, replacing, maintaining or
rebuilding cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles,
differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air
systems. Every day, picture yourself working alongside other
trained Technicians in a shop that has all the support and
resources you need to perform top-notch work on heavy trucks. This
position will work the swing shift Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-
midnight. WHAT YOU NEED:
- 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models
of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair,
electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and assertiveness.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Must provide own tools. Compensation: $29.98-44.97/hr
